The Platico Releaser is a releaser specifically designed for catch-and-release big game fishing. Each one is handcrafted in the Marche region of Italy. It has been tested and developed on numerous super-sized fish, including a 300-kilogram bluefin tuna from Prince Edward Island, Canada, and a grouper from Florida. It firmly captures and holds large fish by the mouth, while the water current constantly supplies oxygen, allowing the hook to be released and the fish to be released perfectly from the surface. The Platico Releaser was created to comply with strict international regulations. This original releaser complies with Japan's bluefin tuna fishing regulations. To use it, squeeze the grip to open the arm, and when you release the grip, the arm closes firmly, capturing the fish by the jaw. It may take some time to get used to it. Before use, be sure to tie the releaser to the hull of your boat with a rope or other device to ensure safe operation.
Available in five lengths, these are specially ordered by JAPAN: XXL-140cm, XL-120cm, L-100cm, M-80cm, and S-48cm. The XL size has already become a standard among recreational fishing boats in the Tohoku region. The M and L sizes have smaller arms than the XL/XXL, making them lighter to use and requiring less grip strength to grab fish. The S size offers a wide range of uses, depending on your imagination. There's no need to worry about the arm bending or missing a catch, making it ideal for releasing fish as well as photography. While these lures are handmade in Italy, there may be some imperfections in the paint or scratches that do not affect their use.
