The next day after leaving Kochi, I went bass fishing at Lake Biwa for the first time in 20 years. I met a man through my Labrador dog,
I was escorted by Mr. S, who runs a surf shop in Osaka.

As we were talking about how the best fish to catch in Lake Biwa these days are 50cm or 60cm, but that I've never caught a 50cm fish myself, I was slowly pulling the worm when the line was pulled in and Mr. S started reeling it in!

There are only big ones at this point...

It seems the prey that got away was huge.
The fishing trip lasted about three hours, and bass fishing was fun.
After all, fishing on your own boat is a man's dream.
