BALSAM 225 / 245 — Introduced in new colors
The Balsam series was born from encounters with monster tuna in the Genkai Sea. The keywords are "stable buoyancy that can carry a big DECOY 10/0" and "the 'hot-tokke' method with a vertical trajectory". Each lure is hand-inspected for buoyancy, and these custom poppers, made from carefully selected balsa wood, come with a 100% buoyancy guarantee.

◆ 100% buoyancy inspection on all items
245: 75g / 225: 78g buoyancy resistance inspected one by one. The thoroughness of rejecting about 15% is the source of hyper-responsiveness.
◆ Vertical trajectory of the "hot-tokke" method
Calls with explosive fish-attracting sound and then "hot-tokke" (leaves it alone) in a vertical posture. Super-fine vibration shakes, caused only by waves and wind, induce bites.
◆ Armor Coat adopted
No water intrusion damage even after 20 casts with DECOY 10/0. This is a significantly upgraded version with increased durability, as if the balsa were wearing armor.
◆ Fully compatible with big hooks
All sizes can be equipped with two big DECOY 10/0 hooks. Recommended are DECOY Y-S23 and BKK GT-REX 7/0 class.

The long-awaited colored version has been added to the AJ custom wood popper "MOCKINGBIRD 245", designed exclusively for large bluefin tuna. General sales for both the plain model, which utilizes the texture of wood, and the colored version, begin today.
It is now possible to use different colors in rotation, allowing anglers to choose the appropriate lure for various conditions such as dawn, daytime, and low light. Since these are small-batch productions, carved one by one, they will also be available only while supplies last.
