BALSAM 245, a plug exclusively designed for monster tuna, which converts the power absorbed by the rod into sure pressure on the fish, arrived in very limited quantities on March 8th.
Its unique wood material offers excellent water grip and an overwhelming presence. It creates a one-of-a-kind action that drives targets over 300kg wild. Due to limited stock, please consider purchasing early.
Each of these Balsam plugs has been individually inspected and passed buoyancy tests before painting. Their buoyancy resistance is an astonishing [78 grams]. This is an unparalleled plug that floats vertically even with large hooks attached (plug alone).
Field Report & Attention
The smaller the monster's feeding bait, the greater the difference a plug makes. In the 10cm anchovy pattern in the Izu area, we received an astonishing answer from monsters: 40 bites with 3 people.
Unfortunately, the fish were too big! We couldn't land them after hookup. Further trial and error are needed to target over 300kg with casting. This "High Flow Balsam" is especially useful when regular plugs are not getting bites.
