Shopping stores? Did you suddenly close down?" We are truly sorry for the worry, with some even fearing us to be a fraudulent site. Please rest assured, Amberjack is alive and well.

In light of the rising prices and difficult conditions surrounding the leisure industry since the COVID-19 pandemic, we made the bold decision to withdraw from highly-costly marketplace stores (Rakuten and Yahoo!) and transition to operating solely through this "official website." We intend to directly pass on the savings from reduced operating costs to our customers through more affordable shopping campaigns and the creation of a high-quality, user-friendly website. While there are many areas where we can improve, we plan to gradually introduce new things and ideas.

On a personal note, while I have primarily operated this store as a jigging specialist, I have recently become completely captivated by "casting games." At the beginning of each month during this season, I frequently visit the Genkai Sea in pursuit of bluefin tuna and yellowtail, and in autumn, I spend my days relentlessly casting plugs in Tsushima. Learning various things on-site, I plan to gradually expand our selection of casting-related items. More than anything, I believe that by thoroughly enjoying fishing myself, new encounters and ideas will emerge. We will continue to strive to become a high-quality pro shop, and we appreciate your continued support.

YONE PLUG : The Guide Protector

Now, the first new item I'd like to introduce for June is the "YONE PLUG."

This is a silicone rod guide plug developed through a fated encounter between Mr. Shin Kinoshita, chairman of the Bluefin Fishers' Association and a tester for BlueBlue and Zenaq (who is also my senior from junior high school and used to live near me), and Mr. Suzuki, president of "Yonepura Mold" in Nishio City, Aichi Prefecture.

Produced through precise mold manufacturing, this plug beautifully and perfectly fits the top guides of large fish rods. It's an innovative fishing tackle idea that prevents the uncomfortable rattling sound of swivels and rings hitting the guides when casting or live bait tackle is loaded into a car, while also physically protecting the delicate inner guide rings.

It comes in four colors: a special glow color developed through trial and error, a chic matte black, and highly visible fluorescent green and fluorescent purple. Priced at an affordable 440 yen (tax included), you can freely choose your preferred color. Also, to deliver it to you as cheaply as possible, we have eliminated excessive packaging that would ultimately be discarded, and will send it to you in eco-friendly packaging.

June Arrivals : SEAFLOOR CONTROL & GENIO

Next, we have awaited June arrival information from "SEAFLOOR CONTROL," which boasts immense popularity from deep-sea to inshore fishing. Popular AJ exclusive colors and titanium colors of their jigs such as Abyss, Arrow, Arc, Cranky, Messiah Semilong, and Rector, which had been out of stock for a long time, have finally been restocked.

Furthermore, the acclaimed jigs "Locka" and "Locka Short" from "GENIO," a practical brand from Tsushima City, Nagasaki Prefecture, have also been restocked.
