no3 last edition
Current model discontinued
Only a few "No.3" rods remain.
The blanks for the current RENEGADE model will be discontinued, with only a few No. 3 rods remaining.
No. 2, No. 3, and No. 4 are scheduled for an update between 2026 and 2027. While retaining their basic concept, they will evolve into more versatile performance to accommodate the latest jigging methods.
However, due to soaring material and solvent costs, the next model is expected to see a significant price increase. This is your last chance to acquire the current model at its current price. Please consider this opportunity.

RENEGADE = Betray
To betray expectations in a good way, to create a rod that exceeds them. This desire is embedded in the name.
Amberjack strives to use all the rods it handles in the field and provide neutral impressions. Through this, we met Mr. Uehara, the builder at Takami Technos, used all MOZ series models extensively, and fell in love with solid carbon rods.
For RENEGADE, based on MOZ's LM (Low Modulus), we had Mr. AJ (the store manager) create his favorite action, which has more power in the butt section than a regular LM, incorporating elements of HM. It is a rod with [MOZ LM blanks specifically designed with a completely new taper, improving operability and being unbreakable even when heavily bent].
To improve sensitivity, which is a weak point of solid rods, [DAIWA's AGS carbon guides] are used for the two butt guides. Furthermore, the grip employs a thick [large-diameter cork rubber grip], making it less slippery when wet and improving durability. The color scheme is combat gray with red accents. Each rod is carefully assembled, uncompromisingly HAND MADE IN OSAKA.
Mr. Uehara, the representative, and the store owner are still friends who go fishing and hang out about four times a year. They discuss interesting new product development based on their current themes. It's not just a business; pursuing themes that inspire each other leads to good directions. Mr. Uehara has grown Takami Technos into an iconic brand, so much so that when people think of solid carbon rods in Japan, they think of Takami Technos. Thank you always.
