■ The One-of-a-Kind Short Shaft Concept
We are finally accepting orders for the MOZ540 FOR AMBERJACK series, a collaborative model inspired by RENEGADE, an AMBERJACK exclusive model. During a meeting with Mr. Uehara, who presides over Takami Technos, we planned various collaboration projects with the aim of making 2023-24 "a year that culminates many years of our relationship."
This rod is not simply a slightly longer version of the popular 520 series, which ended successfully. It is a true masterpiece of Takami Technos, which continues to pioneer genres not found in the market, with "a maniacal balance and tuning." Amberjack has further pursued the blank space that the RENEGADE filled, creating a 5.4-foot short type that is slightly longer than typical.
■ Savior for Conquering Extreme Conditions
Extreme situations like fast currents, strong winds, and the Kuroshio current are difficult for expedition anglers. Simply dropping heavy jigs becomes physically demanding. Without alternative tactics, fishing tends to become monotonous. In such cases, short rods like the 520 and 540 become a savior.
While available in #2, #4, #6, and #8, you can consider them to have even greater power due to their shorter length. The specified jig weights are a versatile range. The core weight can be considered to be in the middle (this is only a reference weight). The appropriate number will vary depending on your preferred fishing style and approach. Solid carbon short shafts might not appeal to anglers other than enthusiasts, but they are the ultimate weapon for targeting amberjack in Tokara or remote islands. The #8 is easier to handle for deep-sea jigging, even for those with less physical strength, due to its shorter length.
■ For Control-Oriented Jigging
To fish slowly, you might need to give up on length and instead use the reel to raise the range and tempt fish in short increments. Similar to the RENEGADE, it has a larger diameter grip, making it ideal for jigging with powerful reels. For RENEGADE users, this model with a similar design is a welcome addition! Since each rod is handcrafted, delivery is expected to be approximately three months.

② The accent thread in the same location will be removed.
*The attached images show an EVA grip, but since all Amberjack presets are rubber cork, there is no impact on the grip itself.

About Delivery (Not an immediate delivery item)
The delivery time is stated in the title. Please note that you will have to wait approximately 3 months after placing your order. This is not an immediate delivery item, so please understand this before making a purchase. Please read the shipping information below, as separate Sagawa Express shipping fees will apply for delivery.
Cancellation and Return Policy
If you cancel before shipping, change the amount below, or return the item after receipt, a cancellation (change) fee of approximately 6% of the payment amount will be charged. Please agree to this before placing your order. Fees vary depending on the payment method.
For those who wish to pay by bank transfer (Payment deadline applies)
We will only accept orders for payments received by June 13th. The order deadline is scheduled for June 15th, but payments must be made before then.
(For remote islands requiring a shipping quote, only the rod fee should be transferred by June 13th, as the shipping fee will be charged separately at a later date.)
Customers who have only completed the order procedure and whose payment is not confirmed by June 13th will have their order accepted for the next delivery. Please note this in advance.
