TAKAMITECNOS MOZ540 FOR AMBERJACK
We are finally accepting orders for the MOZ540 FOR AMBERJACK series collaboration model, which pays homage to the RANEGADE, a model exclusively for the AMBERJACK. During a meeting with Takami Technos' president, Mr. Uehara, we agreed that 2023-2024 would be the culmination of our longstanding relationship. We have a variety of collaborative projects planned. While retaining the lingering impact of the popular 520 series, this rod is not simply a slightly longer length. It embodies the unique balance and flavor that is the hallmark of Takami Technos, which continues to pioneer genres not yet available on the market. We further pursued the gap that the Amberjack filled with the Renegade, finishing it at 5.4 feet, a slightly longer length for a short model. Extreme situations that challenge expedition anglers, such as fast currents, strong winds, and the Kuroshio Current, simply dropping a heavy weight into the water is physically demanding. The lack of offensive options makes for a monotonous fishing experience. In such cases, short rods like the 520 and 540 are your saviors. Available in sizes 2, 4, 6, and 8, these rods offer even more power due to their shorter length. The jig weights are designed for versatility. The core weights are in the middle, but these are only a guide. The size you choose will depend on your preferred fishing style and approach. While the short solid carbon shafts may not appeal to anyone other than the most dedicated anglers, they are the perfect tool for catching amberjack in Tokara or on remote islands. The 8-size rod is ideal for deep-sea jigging, and its short length makes it easy to handle even for those with limited stamina. For slow-moving fishing, you might want to forgo the lack of length and instead use the reel to raise the range and lure the fish. Like the Renegade, it has a larger grip diameter than the regular MOZ, making it ideal for jigging with a torque-rich reel. Renegade users will appreciate this model with a similar design!
