This assist line supports the knot area of the main PE line. By using the core to thread the main PE line through the hollow part of Scram 16 and forming a line system, it reinforces the areas where problems tend to concentrate, preventing issues like air knots. It also makes threading easier, shortening work time and greatly reducing angler stress. A braided core is used to prevent the main line from coming out when threading (patent pending). 【7 Item Lineup】Available in different colors to match the thickness of the main PE line. 【Velcro Spool Adoption】Connected Velcro spools offer excellent storage in your tackle box. Ideal for knot protection, strength retention during casting, and protecting the PE line where it touches your fingers. Choose the same size as your main PE line, remove the core, and thread the PE line using a needle or a pole-through tool. For FG knots, tie them with Scram covering the line. For the main PE line side, once Scram is pulled out partway, secure the end with about 10 half-hitches. For 180kg bluefin tuna, my system is simplified: FG knot with 8 half-hitches alternated 10 times, 10 times on the main PE line, and a tube knot on the plug side. There are absolutely no strength issues. The "FG 8 times" method, directly taught by Mr. Makoto Kinoshita, involves tightening and then re-tightening with Vaseline at the end. By reducing the number of braids, strength differences are eliminated, and with Scram protection, I believe a stable knot can be easily tied.
