TAKAMITECHNOS × AMBERJACK
SPINNING MODEL
NO.6 / NO.8
■ The Renegade Spinning rod for the muscular angler
A collaboration model between Takamitechnos and Amberjack.
The bait versions, the NO.6 and NO.8, have demonstrated unparalleled versatility in heavy-weight vertical jigging. Evaluated for their ability to be used in extreme conditions—from the waters of the Tokara Islands to the deep seas of Minami-Izu—these rods offer the peace of mind of a full solid build combined with a high-rebound taper.
Jigging with large spinning reels can be physically demanding due to the lower center of gravity, and the burden increases further when drift fishing without keeping the boat steady. However, recent improvements in jig performance have broadened the scope for spinning approaches, including fall-based jigging and slow-tempo jigging.
We believe the Renegade is a rod designed for head-on competition using slightly heavier tackle. We hope you will utilize this rod for aggressive jigging while taking advantage of its 181cm length.
Sold exclusively on a made-to-order basis. Estimated delivery is approximately 3 months after order placement.
