TALICA POWER HANDLE 110/115mm
A completely handmade stainless steel power handle arm from Shimada Kobo, crafted in a small factory in Nagoya. It is specifically designed to be directly attached to Shimano's 2-speed baitcasting reels, the "26 Talica 20II & 25II". While we have confirmed compatibility with the 20 and 50 models, we cannot confirm compatibility with other model numbers.
To meet the demands of anglers targeting large Amberjack, Dogtooth Tuna, and Bluefin Tuna using standing or winch fighting techniques, the arm length is available in two practical sizes that are not too long: "110mm" and "115mm".
This battle-ready specification prioritizes maneuverability, allowing for winch fighting with the reel secured to a rod holder (e.g., a Lark). The shaft is a robust Shimano D-type. The luxurious hairline finish adds a touch of elegance to tackle used for targeting large game fish.

Differences between the new Talica (2026) and the old model
1Equipped with Infinity Drive
- The new model features Infinity Drive + double drag structure (the biggest change).
- Significantly lighter winding even with high drag settings.
- Handle rotation is over 30% lighter than the old model.
- Higher drag values can be achieved, making fighting large fish dramatically easier.
2Further Low-Speed Gear Ratio
- For sizes 20II and above, the low gear has been further reduced in speed.
- This allows for more stable winding of large fish like tuna and marlin with greater torque.
- Evolved from the old model (recovery-focused) to power-fight focused.
3Increased Size Lineup
- Newly added sizes: 12II / 16II / 40II
- This expands the lineup to 6 sizes in total, allowing for more precise tackle balance customization.
4Optimized Handle Knob Shape
- The optimal knob shape has been changed for each size.
- 25II → Changed to T-handle knob
- 40II / 50II → Features a large T-handle knob
- Improved grip for long fights with large fish.
5Addition of Light Line Cam
- A "light line cam for nylon" has been added as an accessory part.
- This allows for fine adjustment of the drag to a lower setting when using nylon line.
