The baitcasting versions, No. 6 and No. 8, offer unparalleled versatility for heavyweight vertical jigging. In addition to the reassuring feel of a full solid rod, its high-rebound tapered design has earned it acclaim as a rod suitable for extreme conditions, from the Tokara Seas to the deep waters of southern Izu. Jigging with a large spinning reel can be physically demanding due to the lowered center of gravity, and drift fishing in a dotera area without a standing boat can be even more taxing. However, with the recent improvement in jig performance, the scope of spinning approaches has expanded, including fall-based jigging and slow-tempo jigging. We believe the Renegade is a rod for head-on battles with slightly stronger tackle. Taking advantage of its 181cm length, this rod is perfect for aggressive jigging. This rod is sold on a made-to-order basis. Estimated delivery time is approximately three months after order placement.
