The baitcasting versions NO.6 and NO.8 offer unparalleled versatility in heavy-weight vertical jigging. Combined with the reassuring feel of a full-solid construction, the high-rebound tapered design has earned them recognition as rods usable in extreme conditions, from the Tokara Islands to the deep seas of Southern Izu. Jigging with large spinning reels is physically demanding due to the lower center of gravity, and the burden increases even further when drift fishing in a direction where the boat is not upright. However, in recent years, jig performance has improved, expanding the range of approaches for spinning reels, including fall-based jigging and slow-tempo jigging. We believe the Renegade is a rod designed for head-on battles with slightly stronger tackle. With its 181cm length, it's a rod we hope you'll use for aggressive jigging. This rod is sold on a made-to-order basis. Delivery is estimated at approximately 3 months after order placement.
