Fall-based jigging has been gaining attention in recent years as a way to approach monster tuna. The SOTTOMARINO 666 was developed specifically for this highly specialized style.
The blanks are made primarily from Goju's proprietary carbon and glass material and are designed to bend slowly. The rod naturally responds to delicate bites during the fall, and even the charge of a 300kg class fish is converted into repulsive force, allowing you to maintain control.
Calculated length and expandability
Its total length is 203cm. It offers an excellent balance between jig operability and the power lift required to control the fish's movements. Also noteworthy is the long rear grip designed with the Black Magic Gimbal in mind. This dramatically improves stability during jerks and reduces strain during long fights . *Please be careful when jerking with a gimbal, as there have been cases where the aluminum gimbal has come off during hooking and caused injury.
Although it is a specification commonly seen in North America and Canada, the Sottomarino has a guide setting that allows it to be used for bluefin tuna baitcasting games using large baitcasting reels. It has the unique expandability that only Goju can offer, having been tested all over the world. *Lowrider guides are also available when ordering.
