‘YONEPLAG’ was born from a meeting between Mr. Suzuki, president of Yonepla Mold Co., Ltd. in Nishio City, Aichi Prefecture, and Mr. Makoto Kinoshita, chairman of the Aomono Association.

For casting anglers, preparing for a fishing trip usually involves assembling the rod and reel, attaching a swivel or ring to the leader, and having several sets ready for different line weights. Many anglers then load their tackle directly onto an in-car carrier and head out. However, the "rattling noise" caused by the top guide and metal parts like swivels rubbing against each other during the drive can be surprisingly annoying.

That's where ‘YONEPLAG’ comes in. Simply thread the leader through the opening and fit it onto the top guide. It's an ingenious item that not only prevents unpleasant noises but also protects the delicate top guide from impacts.

High Quality, Made Entirely in Japan

YONEPLAG is a product entirely made in Japan, conceived by casting expert Mr. Makoto Kinoshita and designed in collaboration with Mr. Suzuki, president of Yonepla Mold Co., Ltd. in Nishio City, Aichi Prefecture, who created the mold. It is produced at a partner factory in Komaki City, Aichi Prefecture.

Designed specifically for big game anglers, it fits perfectly on the thick tips of tuna rods and live bait rods. Both the material and colors have been upgraded to the highest quality silicone.
